Last month, ATF published a call for ATF members in good standing to run for a Constituent Vice President seats at the level they are currently working.
The following offices are up for election this year:
2 Elementary VPs
1 Middle School VP
1 High School VP
1 Support & Related Service Personnel VP
The ATF Constitution states the following: The five (5) constituent vice-presidents shall be elected by their respective constituencies as defined in the bylaws. They shall be elected for a two (2) year term every odd numbered year by secret ballot on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in May.
The majority responsibility of the constituent vice-presidents shall be to:
1. Communicate the needs and desires of the members in their constituency to the Executive Council.
2. Attend all meetings of the Executive Council and the Federation Representative Council.
If you are interested in running for an ATF Constituent Vice President position, you must declare your candidacy via certified letter, addressed to the ATF Secretary and postmarked no later than April 3, 2017.
