Union Educators Endorse Trujillo, Tome-Warito, and Benavidez for Board of Education

The Unified COPE Committee is comprised of all the unions who represent Albuquerque educators: Albuquerque Teachers Federation (ATF), Albuquerque Federation of Classified Professionals (AFCP), United Academics UNM (UA-UNM), and the AFT NM Retirees. Union educators endorse Robert Trujillo, Ronalda Warito-Tome, and Heather Benavidez for APS Board of Education.

Critical Race Theory: A Manufactured Crisis To Destroy Public Education

The true target of the Anti-Critical Race Theory crusade is the destruction of public education. Right wing extremists, funded by the Koch Foundation, Betsy DeVos, the Walton Family (Wal-Mart), and other nefarious players seek to privatize our schools by sowing division through racist, anti-educator, anti-union propaganda and puppet “populist” groups like Moms 4 Liberty.

Breathe For Change

Make your well being a priority and join Tracy Nichols, Teacher-Librarian, for a blissful hour of SEL…for you! Educators, your social and emotional wellness correlates directly with your students’ welfare. The “Breathe For Change” program sets out to put educators’ health and wellness at the center by providing amazingly effective strategies to improve wellbeing. Participants will leave with a greater sense of well-being, as well as a toolkit of SEL techniques and games you can easily incorporate in the classroom.
