Help Your Union Get Out the Vote for Our Endorsed Candidates and FOR the APS Mill Levy! It’s fun! Take a look at this video of our recent Happy Hour and Fundraiser.
This Board election will determine whether or not you have the Right To Teach and who will choose our next superintendent. Everyone’s Help Is Needed!
Please Volunteer To Save Our Public Schools! Educators’ ability to exercise their Professional Judgment to meet students needs depends on you getting active NOW!
Our current superintendent is stepping down this summer, and the Board will choose who the next superintendent will be. Their choice will directly affect educators’ working conditions and students’ learning conditions.
Whether or not the APS Mill Levy passes will determine if there are improvements and repairs to our school grounds and our HVAC. The APS Mill Levy WILL NOT RAISE TAXES! We must VOTE FOR the APS Mill Levy!
We cannot sit this out. We have a choice and a voice in the direction of the board—respectful and supportive or contemptuous and micromanaging.
We must get voters to the polls for our Board/Mill Levy elections. Election Day is Tuesday, November 7th.
Early voting begins October 21. Click on the link to the left or scroll to the bottom of this page to find early voting information.
It is imperative that we all pull together and win these elections. Please volunteer just a few hours for a phone bank or a canvass during this election season. You can sign up here. If you have questions, please contact Dwayne at act@atfunion.org.
